1YO vaccinations
I currently have my 1 YO’s jabs scheduled for 23rd Dec 5pm however this is so close to Christmas I’m worried about him being poorly on Xmas day! Those that have had jabs, how were your LOs?

Mine was fine after the jabs. They did say the week after them they could be poorly/grumpy but my little girl was fine after
No huge issue but it does include the MenB which is the one that is pretty much guaranteed to cause a temperature. Be proactive with the calpol, add in nurofen if needed. She was a bit grumpy at points but with the painkillers we kept on top of it.
To be honest you've probably scheduled that perfectly 😂. They say the temperature, if they're going to get one, hits from day 6 so you'll have a lovely Christmas and then maybe have the side effects for New Year.
Our little boy had his 7 days ago and started getting a temperature last night and was up and down for half the night so it sounds like 6 days was accurate for us 😭
My girl was fine after them initially then as I went to bed that night she screeched in her sleep so I checked her and she had a temperature of 39.8 we gave her meds and she was fine but still grumpy for the days after she only wanted me and her dad. So depends on if other seeing people baby might not want to be passed around
Mine got a full body rash and pretty unsettled day 9-11 after his ones (didn’t sleep great at all either was up all night for 3 nights) - the day of the vaccinations he was just quite tired🥰
My sons were on the same day and I’ve actually cancelled it. My family all live in Spain and they are coming over for 2 weeks. I’ve rearranged to the 7th Jan. I said I was anxious about leaving them but was told as long as they are done by 16 months it’s fine
Every child will react differently so some may well be fine, some will not. You won't know till you've done it so why risk it?
The nurse told us to expect a reaction 1-3 weeks afterwards. My son had a minor temperature on the day of the jab and then was fine but he did come down with flu the week after!
My baby was very grumpy after had nap until the midday ish next day and after that she has been okay
My little boy was fine after no change at all, it was 7-10 days after he became a little poorly! X
My LO was fine in herself but had diarrhoea for 4 days xx
