My first ultrasound was abdominal at 10 weeks in the era they got the gestational age wrong and I wonder if they got the singleton pregnancy wrong. I have done 2 nipt test the first one said boy but its a girl and the second flag either a vanishing twin or an undetected twin and I guess I want to see if by 20 weeks its for sure a vanishing twin. I do have an anterior placenta that makes ultrasounds less clear.

I lost my sons twin, due to vanishing twin syndrome and it BROKE my heart and I was pregnant with a girl and a boy obviously, but I lost her at 20wks I went in for my ultrasound and they couldn’t find her heartbeat or anything just an empty sac and it was hard on me and my husband but the brother (Waylon) absorbed the twin sister so he has a mix of her

For me I had an 8 week ultrasound finding out we were having twins then a 12 week ultrasound where they confirmed the lose of baby A. I’d ask for a transvaginal ultrasound just to get a different view
