It’s been a rough couple of days
My little boy has tonsillitis and is full of this nasty flu that’s going around. It’s been just over a week now and no signs of him improving. Every day has become a challenge as he’s really not happy most of the time, night time has also become so bad with him not sleeping. Has anyone else been through this and how long did it take your little ones to recover? Also any advice/tips on how to help them that worked? He’s been having Nurofen and I’ve been using the Calpol plug in at night, he’s also cutting his top teeth too so he’s going through the wars at the moment. I hate seeing him poorly 😢

Can you not alternate calpol & nurofen if hes super uncomfortable?? Instead of just nurofen
Hi I’ve been there… tonsils/ we had antibiotic which worked wonder but then he had cold straight after, what helped us is raised pillow to help sleep, dehumidifier, clearing his nose often, and we did inhalations through nebulizer which helped to clear airways… I know how painful it is to look at them when they are poorly
Also I have been swapping calpol with nurofen even when he did not had temp and he was uncomfortable I gave him like 2.5ml of calpol
