How much formula are you giving your babies in a 24 hour period?
LO is 5.5 months and approx 94th percentile baby, haven’t started weaning yet.
I feel like everything I read tells me she’s having too much to eat?? I read babies should have a maximum of 32oz in a 24 hour period, but I can tell she’s actually hungry and not just looking for comfort etc.
She currently has 5 x 210ml bottles a day, probably leaving a total of 60ml across all bottles which totals nearly 35oz.

Think all babies are different, our little girl is 6 months 15th January and I have started weaning for about a week now, and she has 4 x 8 oz bottles so one when she wakes and then last one before bed and then nothing through the night , sometimes she doesnt drink it all due to us weaning but she never wakes hungry in the night, but every baby is differnt I thought about upping to 9oz but didnt as she sometimes doesn't take it all, we are also cutting two teeth as well so that plays a huge factor x

I wouldn’t worry my LO is 5 months and has been having between 28-35oz in 24 hours since 3 months, I informed my health visitor who said that’s okay. You’ll probably find they will drop a feed once you start weaning x

My son is 6 months and has 8oz x 8 bottles in a 24 hour period. I don’t really follow rules or guidelines as every baby is different. My son has been a hungry baby from birth

My girl is 5 months and 1 week and she’s having the same, sometimes she has a little more as well, just keep following hunger cues, even if she wants to feed for comfort sometimes I just let her it’s not an issue as she won’t over-drink. Her sperm donor is quite large so i think she’s taken them genes and just needs a little extra😭

Our LG (also 5.5 months) is having 6x 240ml bottles in a 24 hour period but doesnt always eat the full bottle, sometimes 90/120 ml left, sometimes she eats the full thing, but she's teething so eating less recently.
Our LG has always been a hungry baby and we always just followed her and what she wants
I dont look at guidelines because its all statistics, but every baby is different, if your baby is hungry and they want more then give it to them x

My 25% LO probably has around 28oz. We just feed on demand, I was told to listen to the baby not the guidelines my my hv however if you are worried maybe reach out to someone xx

My 5.5month has the same amount as yours and has done since she was about 4 months old. She sleeps through the night because she gets all of this from 7am-7:30pm. She’s 50th centile for weight but 92nd for height. I wouldn’t worry if you baby is happy and gaining weight in line with what they should be x

75th centile baby, 5.5months,
4 x 6.5oz bottles
2 x 7.5oz bottles
She doesn't always finish them all.
2 night feeds (included in the above).

5.5 months
75th percentile
6x 6oz bottles. The last one is a dream feed at 10.30ish and then won’t have another until 7am.
We are going to up day time bottles to 7oz and try and drop the dream feed

Roughly around 30oz per day. He’s 50th centile only drinking 150/180ml bottles at the moment and has never had more than 180ml in one go. He goes around 3.5 hours per feed and sleeps through the majority of the time. He’s been a little off his milk recently, not sure if it’s teething! X

My 2nd centile girl will be 6 months on 3rd January and she’s on an average of 25 ounces / 750ml in 24 hours and that’s across 6 bottles! They are all so different!
