Can I ask how long everyone’s 8 month olds going between bottles and how many bottles a day! Thanks.

My twins have 5 bottles approx every 3.5/4hrs. But I work on schedule to avoid two screaming babies. Not necessarily responsive feeding. Sometimes they finish the bottle, sometimes they dont.

Mine is having 4 bottles a day at 210mls. Normally going around 3 to 3.5 hours between bottles but also on 3 meals a day.

My baby has 4 bottles during the day being 3 hours apart and then usually one bottle in the night. We’re only having breakfast and dinner at the minute and still not eating much food x

We’ve just changed to 4 bottles of 210ml a day but he hardly ever finishes the whole bottle. He has breakfast at 8am (usually porridge), a bottle at 9:30, 12:30, 3:30, food at 4:30 and then bedtime bottle at 6pm x

We dropped to 4 but have figured out 5 works better for us now that baby is preferring feeding herself solids with her hands. She has 1 x 8oz on wake up around 6/6:30am, solids at 8:30/9, 7 oz about 10am, another 7 oz at 12:30/1pm, another 7oz at 3/3:30pm, solids at 4:30/5pm and bedtime 7 oz bottle 6/6:30pm. She doesn’t always finish the 7oz ones but comes pretty close, doesn’t wake for feeds in the night. We go on combination of cues and timings now to make sure she’s getting enough x

We do 7oz bottles at 7am, 11am and 3pm, and then an 8 or sometimes 9oz bottle at about 7pm! I’m not strict on the schedule, just helps me think “oh, she’s a bit whingey, and it’s 10:45, so she’s probably getting hungry”. She’s also still having anywhere between 3-5oz at night, plus 3 meals a day! She’s probably having too much milk now, but she finishes most bottles so I’m guessing she’s hungry!! X
