My little one (5 months 14 days) still on size 2 from mam. I’ve introduced size 3 but he eats so fast and ends up coughing and spills milk. Just wondering how to improve this?

It's potentially too fast of a flow for him. My lg is the same age and only on size 1 teats for the mam bottles, size 2s are even too quick for her. I'd stay on the 2s for now for him

We tried to change to 3s last month and it didn't go too well, what we did was we had a couple bottles we kept 3s on and put the rest to 2s to do a slower transition. This worked great and now we are completely on 3s which is good because she was taking forever to eat on the 2s and would just get so bored that she wouldn't finish the bottle!

You dont need to move up a size unless they are drinking really slowly or not finishing the bottles
You can stay on size 1 for the whole time if that works

You don’t need to move up a size, I’ve gone back to 1 for my 6 months old as more milk ended up down her front. Depends on the baby and what is best for them you don’t need to follow what the packaging says ☺️

My son also has mam bottles, he is on size 2 for all his bottles, I tried him on 3 but he was coughing a lot so I’ve just kept him on 2, I’m not worried about it as he will be weaning soon and he finishes all his bottles so I would rather he drink comfortably than cough and splutter on a 3, trust your gut mama and keep him on 2 if it works for him

I tried to go up to mam size 3 but it was like she was drowning in milk so sticking with 2 :)
