Hi mamas 🤍
I’d love to hear your advice and experiences.
My 4-month-old is formula fed and eats quite frequently during the day, but usually only small amounts (around 60–90 ml), sometimes every 1–1.5 hours. In the evening/night it’s very different — she/he can drink 120 ml in one feeding and then sleep for 4–5 hours straight.
I’m wondering if there’s a gentle way to help my baby take bigger feeds during the day and go a bit longer between feedings. Or is this totally normal at this age and something they grow out of on their own?
Thank you so much x

As long as she’s having wet nappies etc don’t worry

Probably find she may start to get more of an appetite as she get bigger

My little girl is exactly the same, she has 2-3oz through the day and then 4oz overnight going 4/5 hours. The only thing I can advise is that you try stretch her out more during the day and see if she takes more, but I know it’s so much easier said than done! I tried with my little girl and it didn’t work x

Can be completely normal! But are they tiring on the bottle? If so might be worth having an oral assessment to check for tongue tie x
