Ear infection?

Have you tried cleaning the ear? If it wipes off then it isn't infection.

My baby was hospitalised with an ear infection twice and this is exactly what hers looked like

My boy had this last week! It’s a burst ear drum from an ear infection (quite common don’t panic) but definitely needs antibiotics to clear it! Apparently their little ears will perforate to ease the pressure . . . I now also have a terrible cold with horrific sore throat and earache / pressure but antibiotics cleared boyos ear up in about 24 hours

Audiologist here - def looks like dried discharge from an infection. Does his ear smell funky? Def get the gp to check tomorrow

It was a viral infection, but the discharge was just ear wax the Dr said. Nothing to worry about. Baby is feeling much better today but I notice the ear is still hurting him a bit.!
