Burnout

How are you mammas dealing with burnout? I am struggling and don't know what to do. I have undiagnosed ADHD also and I only found out I had it after having children and not understanding why I struggled so much as a mother. I love my children and I advocate for the all the time BUT I genuinely struggle with them at the same time, I live with my husband and he helps but I feel like I still do a lot and then I get into a state of burnout and I completely detach from everything and everyone, then I go into a depressive mode and literally just in survival mode. How do you all manage burnout. Please help a mama with any advice or strategies that has helped you, thank you in advance x

Hi, I stop living up to others expectations and admit what I want and noticed my limitations.
Ex.when I’m running late I raise my voice
Ex I don’t want to change a diaper right this second because I would rather focus on the laundry.
It will get better just take it day by day

I’m learning to declutter and implement cleaning rituals using YouTube. I look at mothers routines and stuff to see what can help me.
I also realize I can not pour from an empty cup so I do self care. If it means I put baby to bed and dnt do dishes and chores but sit in a warm bath and do my skin care, hair, nails. I try to make time for myself and sprinkle things I love into my day. Like maybe a homemade coffee, matcha, or smoothie that healthy but tasty. I also notice I havvvvvbe to spend time in prayer or doing a devotion and it helps my mind relax and have peace at beginning or end of the day.

Sometimes it hard to deal with burn out and people don’t realize it’s a real thing as a mom. I get overstimulated as well and need a break. My advice would be ask for help if you can maybe a night to decompress. I use to stay up alone late just so I could have some time to myself in the peace and quiet. Maybe see if family can help out and baby sit one day. It will get better I promise.
