I’m wondering if there are any other single mums here raising their little one with an absent father. My daughter is nearly 2 and a half, and I thought by now I would have accepted it… but I still find myself mourning the family I thought she’d have and how this isn’t fair as I’m doing this all alone. Tonight I’m really struggling and honestly just need someone who gets it to talk to. If this resonates with you, please reach out 🤍

Ok so as a mom I get you. But let me tell you my mom she had to do it twice, call it bad luck. She raised me all by herself for 21 years till I got married and my dad never showed up one day. Does it hurt from a girl’s perspective for sure. But the older she’s going to get with him absent the stronger it will make her in life. I don’t mourn my father anymore as I did when I was a teenager and you’re not there yet but she’s gonna act up on you but when she grows older you’ll be her ultimate best friend and her favorite human on this planet. You’re doing great and it’s his loss. So screw him. No matter how hard it is, you don’t know what life has for you or what it protected you from.

Mine just turned 2 her dad is absent and so is my family. We are doing good on our own it honestly gets better… I hope anyway

Mine is almost 3 and has never met her father, he doesn’t want anything to do with her!
