Has anyone else’s baby been diagnosed with bronchilitis but been told to manage at home?

My son is so snuffly and has been for over 2 weeks it’s just not clearing I took him to A&E yesterday they diagnosed bronchilitis but told us to manage it at home. Said give him calpol if he gets a temp but he’s only 6 weeks old debating going another hospital for second opinion!

Hi I can't answer your question but do you mind sharing what symptoms your son has? My son has also been congested in his nose and throat for over 2 weeks fine in himself but worried it could be worse than a cold

Could you contact your GP for advice?

I took LB to GP for coughing and rattling chest and his breathing was fast. GP sent us straight to hospital paediatric assessment unit , they diagnosed Bronchiolitis and kept us in for 24 hrs for observation as his breathing was fast. He was 4 weeks at the time (now 7 weeks)
