My toddler is starting next week. I have two questions.
What kind of clothes do you send your toddler in with (obviously not like Sunday Best) but what kind?
Also did your toddler suffer with separation anxiety or was it more you? 🤣

My daughter was 11.5 months when she started so even split in terms of who struggled

I’ve really struggled with the separation anxiety, it feels so tough after having a year of just me and her every day 🥲 I just keep reminding myself it will be amazing for her development, she will make friends and learn loads, and it’s also important for them to learn some independence from us and for us to find ourselves outside of being a mum again. Just know that it’s totally normal for one or both of you to struggle with the transition at first, and be kind to yourself ❤️
In terms of clothes, I just send her in leggings, a vest and a jumper/sweatshirt. I got all her nursery stuff from Matalan (they have a great sale atm), Primark or Vinted because I’ve heard they can get quite messy!

The separation anxiety will get better. Try not to reflect that on your LO as they absorb everything that we feel.
Clothing, we buy sets of sweatshirts and joggers. A set of socks and sets of pants. That way, we can keep up with laundry and clothing that goes to nursery as spares and those that he wears to nursery. Basically have a set of uniform. Footwear, crocs came in handy when we were potty training but otherwise just trainers. Cheap ones if possible. Whatever they wear at nursery, most likely will get messed up.
Good luck! You’ve got this! 👍🏽
