My daughter is 18months and still breastfeeding and I think she is less inclined to eat her solid meals because she isn’t hungry. I’m keen to continue breastfeeding until 2 or 3 because toddlers still need milk and I have concerns about cows milk. My question is will she naturally stop feeding when she is ready or will I have to start refusing her the breast as she gets older? What were your experiences of weaning off of the breast and any advice please.

Yes she will naturally stop. But when that will be is very dependent on the child. It happens between 2-7 years most often. There is some research that shows that thr length of time is linked to the time it takes to establish the immune system (as BF supports the immune system until it’s fully functional).
Best best place to check out is Emma Pickett. She’s on insta but she also has podcast (makes milk). Especially the episode how to wean a booby monster will help

That’s excellent advice thank you so much
