What are we doing for photo albums?

Hey ladies, what’s everyone doing with photos? I feel like it’s so hard to keep up with printing pictures and remembering when they were taken bc photos don’t have dates printed on them anymore 😩 but I wanta have something in print rather than all digital incase something happens to my phone/ cloud or whatever but dang so hard to keep up any ideas???

Do you have apps like free prints/Snapfish in the US.
I use them, get my free photos, pay delivery and then have a massive photo album to store them in. 🙂

I’ve been using Chatbooks monthly minis. They’re perfect! Super easy and affordable to get photo bound books every month ($15 CAD/month). You can also add short captions to each photo. Otherwise I’d have thousands of adorable photos unlikely to see the light of day!

I used Shutterfly. They have deals on prints a lot.

My MIL asked for a photo album for Christmas every year and we get a copy too. Our lb is born end of November so we do birthday to birthday. I absolutely love ours. We usually use snapfish for a small soft cover album, normally about 25 pages and over 200 photos. Doesn’t show everything but contains most of it! Could design it month by month and add on dates with text boxes

Use freeprints, you can select to add the date on the back of the picture so willl be automatic, also get 50 free a month with £2 delivery I think

I use Mosaic Journal, they send you a large hardcover book and then every couple of months they send you the photos you upload to their app, they print the date on the photos and you can also add a title too. The books are really good quality 🙂

I lost some baby photos when my old phone died a couple of months ago 😭 so I have started creating dedicated albums on Google drive and backing everything up every few days. Everything is sorted in 3 monthly intervals, so that I can print photos as soon as that period is over. Then print selected favourites at the end of the period. If I'm nkt sure about order, I just go back to the digital album to check dates. Then put them in that order in the album. I second Snapfish for printing.

In Australia we have companies that print photo books. You can add photos on their app and include text throughout the year and print them at the end of the year 😊

Get it printed into a book. I have way too many photos to do that I’d need to do it monthly. But I do have an external hard drive that contains my whole life, it’s 8TB. Every time I change phones I transfer the pics and photos on there. On this phone I currently have 59,000 pics and 5000 vids lol.

Shutterfly has free prints! All the time. They come to your house within a couple days. I just put all the photos in albums. I just categorize them along with every batch that I do. For instance, I just printed out all of the Thanksgiving and Christmas photos. They were all the recent photos on my phone. They all went into the same album. The next album will be a winter album.

Awesome I regularly go through my pictures and delete repeats and just heart. The ones that are my favorite version if I took several pictures in a row. I only have 500 pictures on my phone because of this.

We do 1-2 photo books per year and last year did one extra just for our wedding. There’s also a German brand called “Pappzarapp” where you can make cardboard picture books for children which we’ve done a few times as well for our toddler :)

I got a photo book made from Shutterfly. I love it. You can either create one yourself or have them create it for you for free (unless they have a deal which they almost always do). But you just add your pics straight from your phone and edit. I have a 6”x6” book and it big enough to see but small enough for my toddlers to flip through.
