LVL and brow lamination treatments during pregnancy

Hey there! I’m a licensed esthetician. We look at pregnancy as a contraindication for many treatments because while pregnant we’re more susceptible to allergic reactions, & heightened skin sensitivity. If an allergic reaction happens pregnant women can’t take most antihistamines. Most estheticians/cosmetologist will turn you away due to liability because if something happens we can have our license revoked And face heavy fines for malpractice. HOWEVER, i recommend if you do proceed to get it done and the cosmo/estie is willing, make sure they test the product out on your skin to ensure you won’t have an allergic reaction.
