Has anyone experienced their Kendamil formula being frothy? We usually use SMA but have changed to Kendamil infant milk and it seems to be extremely frothy and remain that way even after letting it settle?

Yeah we have used the first infant milk and the first infant organic and both are the same

Yeah ours was always quite bubbley. We tried to swirl it instead of shaking to mix đ

Same. Classic and organic

Bonya is good also made by kendamil

It is! I had a look there website and it does say it tends to froth and that some people stir it x

I have found this with Cow & Gate - only got a tub temporarily because of the SMA recall, and I've noticed Cow & Gate gets a lot frothier than SMA!

Yeah it deffo is frothy! I swirl it instead of shake but when I have to check the temp I have to shake some out on my arm it goes all frothy lol I canât win đ

Yeah, we switched from Aptamil to Kendamil and it's certainly frothier! I put infacol in her bottles to help get rid of some of the bubbles (even then it's still a little frothy though)

Noticed this and it gave my girl awful wind. She was in so much pain with it we had to switch formula and sheâs like a different baby now!

Thank you everyone, I thought I was doing something wrong đ

It definitely does get bubbly! We swirl it and it still ends up that way! Doesnât seem to bother the little one from draining the bottle though đ

It is very bubbly! We use dentinox which removes pretty much all of the bubbles, even with shaking the bottle đ

Sometimes! I had to work on how I mixed it and didnât have too much of an issue? Very weird!!

I always shake and the froth is a lot but as sheâs feeding it does cut down. My daughter has colic yet it still doesnât seem to bother her, a nice big burp afterward. I did ask kendamil and it was Moreso about the use of fresh milk where the component comes from and why it frothes so much!

I use kendamill and use the tommee tippee prep machine and that makes it frothy but when I use the nuby rapid cool it isnât! We use infacol in the bottles and the bubbles disappear xx

Usually use Kendamil comfort which has no froth and recently changed to Kendamil original and do notice significant froth and more is created as he drinks đ

Iâve heard someone say that kendamil is basically a baby cappuccino before đ I found it didnât really matter when using the mam anti colic bottles as the bubbles couldnât get out of the bottle x

Kendall is definitely frothier itâs because itâs made with whole milk and the protein from the whole milk coats all the tiny bubbles which makes them sturdier and less likely to pop most companies use skimmed and add extra oils to make it fattier and it also breaks down the froth they also add emulsifiers these attack the tiny bubbles then they pop much quicker and the emulsifiers help the water and oils mix which is why you donât see loads of froth forming. would be amazing if a formula existed that was more natural (whole milk instead of skimmed) so the fat can come naturally from the milk but also not be as frothy. Hard to know which is the right option a lot of the time you just have to go with whatâs best good thing is all uk formula has to meet certain standards so no matter what oils or milk they use or even the price they will have a he nutrition baby needs so just go with whatever little one prefers or takes too better. Xx

Yeah we had to swap to cow and gate x

I use actimil since we switched from breastfeeding and it gets frothy like that if i shake it. I just swirl it and hope for en the best. I guess you could try stirring it with something?

I thought this! Swapped for the same reason. Doesnât bother my boy either though, it did confuse me though!
