Aldi stair gate.. reliable?

I’ve bought two - one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Would it be ok to use it for upstairs? I don’t think I’ll be screwing it on so it’s going to be the pressure use. I’ve heard mixed reviews but mostly positive. Thanks

Hey 👋 I’ve got the Aldi stair gates one at the top of the stairs and one at the bottom! Mine aren’t screwed in. And my feral toddler boy is yet to move them at all! I would definitely recommend 🩵

It’s also been up for over a year as my son is almost 2! So I have had a long time trying it haha!

I have one on my 18mo’s bedroom instead of the stairs. It isn’t screwed in and he pushes/pulls/shakes it all the time (acts like he’s in baby prison and trying to escape😂) and it’s never budged in the slightest. Would deffo recommend, especially in the baby event x
