Nitrofurantoin - antibiotic

I’ve not taken them but if you’ve been prescribed them for infection by a doctor, please trust their judgement as an infection can be dangerous for you and for baby ❤️ is there anything in particular you are worrying about for someone else to maybe elaborate on!x

I have suffered with infections since about 4 I’m now 21, the go-to they prescribe is nitrofurantoin and I have also taken it since being pregnant but I prefer cafelexin because for me personally it works better & I don’t have side affects like I do with nitro- either are safe in pregnancy though (the second infection I got during pregnancy I got cafelexin because the nurse actually listened)

My son (5.5 months) has been changed on to this after being on Co-amocivlav since October - he started it last week Tuesday
