Hi Everyone
I'm considering changing over from Lister hospital to Barnet as my experience there wasnt great. Could anyone share their experience of c section at Barnet? Also are rooms private? As Lister is only shared wards. Id love to have a private space.

Hi I had a c section at Barnet and the procedure itself was good. I was taken to a shared ward afterwards which wasn’t so great, not a lot of space at all… but unsure if there are private rooms.

I have had 2 x c- sections at Barnet! The c-sections are brilliant. And 2nd time around the care was good. However if you have a c-section the policy is you have to be in a bay for 24 hours after in case you bleed. I know this because I enquired about a side room. If you stay more than 24 hours then you can pay for one. Not going to lie did not get any sleep as the bays are so noisy x

Sorry I didn’t have a C section but I had a lovely experience at Barnet and was in a private room after with double bed and my partner could stay x

I diddnt have a c section but I gave birth at barnet and my birth care was fantastic but the after care was shocking as I was readmitted and ended up staying there for a month afterwards

2 c sections at Barnet and loved both of them. On the ward after which wasn’t great but cannot fault the staff or care I got.

A looong and honestly traumatic labour which after over 24hrs of contractions resulted in a c-section he arrived today at 10:02am, I’m absolutely besotted he’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen 🙂↔️

I’m due on the 7th of November and still haven’t packed my hospital bag. When should I get this sorted? And what do I need? What are things I definitely need to pack that I will definitely forget to pack if it’s not on my list???

Hi ladies, was wondering is anyone thinking about booking in a c section over an induction if they went past 41 weeks? Appreciate people’s thoughts and any past experiences!

Hi everyone,
I wanted to do a cute little arrangement rather than just saying when I announce to family members, does anyone have any ideas on what to do? I’m thinking a box with some baby items ☺️

It happened.
After my c-section I laid in that hospital and I said NEVER AGAIN. I’m never going through the experience of birth (c-section or vaginal) EVER AGAIN.
I told my husband “sorry babe, after this I am one and done. I can’t do this type of trauma and pain ever again”.
My boy is 3 months old now, I looked at his adorable little face… and said
“Shit I want another”.
Hope all the June mamas are hangin in!
😂❤️
