Where do you fall in the birth order?

I'm the oldest of 5 siblings with 8 years between myself and the second oldest, and I am 15 years older than the youngest... then about a decade later I had my son! I spent a lot of time caring for my siblings, it definitely shaped my love of being around children but it also influenced my decision to be set on "one and done". Curious how everyone else's family upbringing may have altered your choice in having more or fewer kids!

So my family dynamics are complicated cuz I have a complicated family. My bio mom & bio dad who only had me so I’m an only child from that relationship.
Bt my bio mom also had a daughter from a previous relationship before getting with my dad and she later on had 2other kids after me by a different man. So I was her 2nd born child out of a total of 4 kids that she had. And then my bio dad went on to have 2 sons with my step mom. So I’m the eldest and only daughter in my bio dad’s family.
And then in my adoptive family, I’m the middle child. Cuz my adoptive parents had one biological daughter before me and then later on had a biological son after. So I’m a mix of all. & Wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. It’s Very confusing to be a different person to different families. Part of my trauma was definityley going thru an indentity crisis

I'm the youngest of 2, and I'm going to stop at 2. I might have wanted more if I'd started earlier or I was healthier, but my body hates being pregnant, so I'm calling it quits for my own safety.

I'm also interested to hear how birth order may have affected how many kids people want.

I’m the youngest of 6. Big age gap between me and the oldest (they had kids before I was even born). Currently have one child but would have max 3. I want my LB to have siblings

Im the oldest of technically 7.. was only around 4 of them (moms side, other 2 were dad) towards my teen years.. currently pregnant with my 2nd and it'll be my last

Oldest by a big margin with two half sisters and two half brothers, smallest gap is 7 years and biggest is 17 years.

I am one and done.

I’m the baby of my Adad’s children. The oldest of my A moms and B moms children. Middle of my B dad’s children but was raised an only child. I have 6 kids.

I’m the middle child of 3 kids and I have 1 child and I’m pregnant with twins. Only wanted 2 kids but now I’m going to have 3 by the age of 24🤣best believe I’m done. No family influence on how many kids I wanted I just HATE pregnancy

I’m number 2 of 4. Birth order plays a significant role in personality and family dynamics. I have 3 kids and I think because I’m a middle child I’m more aware and partial to being extra cautious not to “middle child” my middle child 😂

I’m the oldest of 9, 7 of us lived with my mum and the other 2 live with their mums! I’m pregnant with my 2nd, I’m not sure how many I would like to have, I just know I don’t want any after I’m 30 I’m 24 atm, if another 1 or 2 come between then I’m not complaining lol, i wouldn’t mind a big family 🥰🥰 xx

I’m the youngest of 3. I wanted at least 3, but my toddler is such a hand full, I kind of want to be 1 and done, especially since my partner is so wishwashy saying he wants more and then saying he doesn’t want more. I initially wanted kids closer in age, bc being the youngest and being excluded most of my life was not fun lol but my stepson is 10 years older than my toddler and who knows how old my toddler will be by the time I have another.

I’m the youngest and so I my husband. We have two kids and go between being done and still wanting four.

I am oldest (and only at the same time) I’m my dads only but I have a younger sister with my mom.

Oldest out of 4, I’m close to all my siblings we see each other at least weekly if not twice a week, me and my sisters have a group chat and FT every other day. Hubby is an only child and my siblings have welcomed him w open arms and adopted him as the oldest brother. Since I’m the oldest and he’s married to me, he automatically takes oldest brother title. He has no family but he feels welcome in mine. Last night he took all our kids to my sisters’ for dinner while i went out salsa dancing, he’s very welcome there even without me, as the kids also have cousins there their age that they hang w and chat to and play with. I have 3 myself.

I am technically the youngest of 3 but my twin sister is only a few minutes older than me! I still always got called the baby of the family though 😅 I had 2 and I'm pretty sure that's my limit

I am the oldest of 3 (blended family me and youngest are bio and middle is odd one out). I have two children a 2.5 girl and a 1.5 boy. My kids got the crazy energy gene so my head says I’m done but my heart says I want more if I had the £££ energy and space I’d go 4 for sure but open to more. 🥰

Only child and so is my husband, we have two so far. We haven’t decided if we’re done or not.

I'm #2 of 4. I'm done at 2, I've thought about it and I wouldn't be against another but I don't have the support from my husband so 2 is my limit
