I have a 5 month old who is exclusively breastfed. Im trying to get her onto formula for a few reasons, but she will only take 20-30mls it doesnt matter who gives her it she won't drink more.
She will be satisfied for about 20 minutes but then starts fussing wanting more milk but wont take the bottle and will only be satisfied after I breastfeed her

My boy was nearing 4 months when i had to switch over
You need to be consistent first few days were tough but after that things were much easier cc

Totally agree with the above comment, be consistent as it’s a new skill drinking from nipple to bottle so it will take a little while, it’s a good start that she’s accepting the bottle too. Also its worth baring in mind that breastfed babies have smaller stomachs than formula fed, so it may seem like she’s barely taking anything for quite a while but she probably will be filling her tummy up even if it takes some smaller but more frequent feeds x

My baby was the same with the bottle until I tried Lansinoh NatrualWave and she took right away!

Try offering the bottle about an hour after you've breastfed. I find its very mood dependant so if you offer it when they're not starving it can be easier x
