Yess my son is 12 months he does this when I don’t make the bottle or give his solid foods fast enough

My 3 yo doesn’t do it too often but yesterday he had a meltdown while we were walking to the hairdressers and fell down because I was coming too. “He and his 1.5 yo sister should be going by themselves…”

My 10 month old does this when I’m not feeding her fast enough too.

Oh yeah! I let mine sit there until he’s ready to get up and we continue, but I do not allow him to do what he wanted to do. Sometimes he will have 2-3 short ones before we start moving again. But I just don’t give in to what he wanted that started the tantrum in the first place. He can have his feeling but we’re still not doing that. I usually only touch him in that state if he needs to be moved for safety reasons. I find not engaging with it (touching, talking) will allow him to resolve things quicker.

Aha yup xxxx

My son does this over the slightest inconvenience, yesterday it was brcause his applesauce pouch was empty after he finished eating it.
At first he would smack his head and i would get worried since we have hard floors, but he's perfected flopping without hitting his head at this point 🤣

I genuinely can’t deal with this anymore I ask her to stop once and then ignore the behavior and if she starts asking for something or asking questions I tell her we can talk about it once she calms down but I won’t be talking to her while she’s acting like that and one of two things happens 1 she calms down and helps me understand what she wants or two the the tantrum get worse until she tires herself out or is bored of screaming for no reason

My son just pulls a face and cries never fallen lol

Yes this is really the age they test boundaries and patience lol

Yeah but this is better than screaming and throwing things don't you think

Yes 😅he throws himself out. Slaps kicks punched

Everyday I swear! I didn’t get water fast enough last time! 🤣

Yep, regularly over small things when she doesn’t get her way! I mostly ignore or try to give comfort to help her regulate, but without giving in on whatever the thing is causing the tantrum.
