My 13 month old doesn’t crawl or stand or pull herself up. She also can’t go from lying to sitting. If she’s on her belly then she can scoot backwards but that’s about it.
Is anyone else’s baby still like this, or should I be seeing if there’s something wrong?

My 13.5 month old can crawl but not pull to stand. She pulls to her knees but not any further. Health visitor said if she wasn’t doing it by 15 months, they’ll refer to PT but she wasn’t remotely concerned. She didn’t crawl until ten months and did it entirely on her own terms. She’s showing zero interest in walking! Don’t worry - they’re all different

While many babies reach developmental milestones at their own pace, a 13-month-old who is not crawling or pulling to stand should be evaluated by a pediatrician to rule out developmental delays or low muscle tone (hypotonia). While some babies skip crawling, consistent inability to bear weight on legs or move around by 13 months warrants professional advice to determine if physical therapy is needed.

Indeed, all babies are different but worth going to see the health visitor to ask. Was she quite late with rolling etc also?
