Anyone recently given birth at Wigan, if you had to stay overnight or for few nights, did they let your partner stay?
Bit overwhelming thinking i could have to stay in for up to 6 days and my Partner not be there during the night?

I gave birth at bolton but was told wigan are similar. My husband had to leave at 8 or 9pm and come back in the morning. This was after a section in a bay/ward. It may be different if you have a private room. I stayed 2 nights and found it hard but honestly you just get through it and there are people there to support you x

I had my baby 8 months ago now 5 weeks early did 6 nights on neonatal ward and my partner wasn't allowed to stay over he stayed till like 10pm most nights even though they say 9pm but deffo wasn't allowed to stay over

Leave at 9 and allowed back at 9 but also sometimes depending what time you give birth x
We had baby last week by emergency c section, my partner was able to stay, visitors can come 2 -8 however partner has no limit.
