Hi everyone!
I’m starting to explore hospital options for my next delivery and am hoping to get some recommendations. I’m really interested in places that offer a bathtub for labor and/or allow water births — something a little less medically intense but still within a hospital setting.
Ideally I’d love a place where I can have comfort-focused support and freedom of movement, but also the peace of mind that comes with delivering in a hospital (my partner feels a lot more comfortable with that).
If you’ve had a great experience with a hospital that offers these options — or know of ones with supportive midwives, birthing tubs, or water birth options — I’d really appreciate your suggestions!

The only place in MA with a birthing tub in a hospital setting is Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge and they have one tub. I gave birth there in June and labored in the tub, though my birth story didn't lead me to birthing in the tub. Happy to chat if you'd like, just message me!

Mount Auburn is the place to be! Loved their midwife team and even when my baby was breech They supported an unmedicated vaginal birth as much as they could. I ended up having a C-section, but the entire experience was everything I wanted and what I wanted was exactly what you’re saying here
—- as natural as possible but medical intervention only as needed. Message me if you’d want to chat! I thought I chose them because they offer a water birth but couldn’t do it because the baby was breech!

I also chose them ***
