I think if she’s in pain try the hydrocortisone - ask for ointment rather than cream though as cream can sting and ointment is better for dry skin x

If you don’t want to use steroid cream try an ointment like hydromol to help with the dryness x

Olive oil has been helping for my babys eczema 70% of her eczema its gone while we use the olive oil,and also you can try the calm balm its good.

We were told to stop using dermol 500 by a dermatologist as its very strong and our son didnt tolerate it well. You can use hydromol or epaderm or just plain water for baths. Honestly at 2 months old there dont need much soaping. The emollients protect the skin but if it is very red/ flared up steroids can help get the skin back to a baseline that you then maintain with creams that suit your baby. Good luck!
