That’s it?? I’ve been told to do like a protection spell before I do anything but I don’t know where to start

I mean thats a general rule for all magic but it doesnt always have to be a big production (in my opinion) like if I feel bad energy some times I just flick my fingers or wipe down my arms after I leave somewhere but I dont do like protection before that but if I were doing a ritual or casting a spell yes always do protection but if im just doing my make up and dont have time to do like a spell or something I will just maybe apply my moisturizer with intention or maybe draw a sigil with vitamin c serum like I said im just getting into glamor so im taking baby steps I keep my witchcraft very simple and practical too

There are some witchcraft groups on here that may give better advice. I don't really do glamour magick, but I like the ideas of doing doing sigils with makeup, charming your perfume, or charging your beauty tools with specific intent.
