How did you track ovulation with pcos? I use ovulation strips but they give me false positives

I wasn’t getting pregnant for months and the ovulation strips were not accurate. I saw a gynaecologist to help me conceive this time after my pcos diagnosis. He prescribed me a tablet helping me ovulate and he’d track this via ultrasound when the follicle is big enough mean I’m ready for intercourse. Worked for me on the first cycle. Happy to share more if you wanted

I have pcos and I found the ovulation strips would have multiple high readings before I hit my peak but once I was a peak it was obvious. Are your false positives just higher readings or are they like super positive?
Also I don’t ovulate on my own - my first pregnancy needed metformin which triggered it & my second Letrozole. X

So if it’s false positives like every test is darker than control then try tracking bbt instead. If you mean you get a bunch of dark tests all in a row the darkest one will be the peak (I like the Premom app to scan quantify, and compare the test darkness) If you mean that you get several lh rises that can happen with pcos but in that case it will be the darkest test of the last rise. I use cervical mucous to know when to start baby dancing (whenever I have it) and my last darkest test to know when I ovulated. Even if I get several that are dark theres still usually a darkest one. And don’t forget we usually count ovulation as the day after your darkest positive test

I used bbt tracking and the premium and femometer apps, alongside ovulation strips and clear blue ovulation strips (closer to when I thought I was actually ovulating). I also started taking a number of different supplements that helped regulate my cycle and that give me much clearer readings on the tests and apps.

OPKs then confirmed ovulation with BBT as some months I’d have several rises before a true peak. I also used myo-inositol to regulate my cycles x

Are you using the Premom app to read your tests? Also are the dark tests you’re getting darker than the control line and are you getting your period 9-16 days after?
