Stretch marks

What were your stretch marks like, where and when did they appear? Do you get more after delivery? Or do they only come beforehand?
I have had loads on my boobs but none on my tummy and thinking maybe I will get them once it contracts. I would love to hear other people's experiences.

Mine suddenly appeared after delivery. I used all sorts of creams to stop them arriving. Bio oil is great for stretch marks. I got them everywhere, even on my ankles 😭 preeclampsia ruined me

I had one visible one before my baby girl arrived šŸ˜† looked like a tiger on my belly after she was born, but I'm 5 months pp and they're already looking a lot better.

Mine didn’t show until I delivered as well. I have them on my abdomen, hips, and front of my thighs. I’m 2 months pp and they’ve calmed down a bit

Your skin is like leather, it needs to be moisturized and do so often or it’ll crack. I simply use coconut oil. Some moms use products geared towards stretch marks, but I honestly never used that junk. And I don’t have Any stretch marks.. ā¤ļø

I didn't get any from my first pregnancy, I already had a few on my hips and breasts from puberty and I got a few more on my breasts but not on my stomach. People say it's genetic but my mom and grandmother have loads and encouraged me to use coconut oil daily. I would say moisturiser your bump as much as you can. I was gifted creams and lotions so sometimes alternate that with oils but the main thing is keep your skin moisturiser and do not scratch

My skin is prone to getting stretch marks - I’ve had on my boobs, thighs and sighs my whole life. I was surprised I didnt get any during my pregnancy but I ended up getting them all over my belly on my last week of pregnancy (i gave birth at 41.1). I moisturised with E45 and bio oil every day but still got them. While pregnant they looked shiny, and once I gave birth they turned red. I’m now 2 months pp and they look less red with the same moisturising routine.
