Constantly sick
Hello my son is constantly sick and hasn’t had a break. These past two months he has had back to back ear infections, stomach flu( I’m not sure if that’s what it was or the antibiotic caused him to have a delayed reaction) a cold and now pink eye! I feel like such a failure and that I’m doing something wrong. He has been in daycare since he was 5 months. He started crawling 1.5 months ago and he puts everything in his mouth. I clean his play area, where he eats and constantly washing and it doesn’t seem to get better. My husband thinks our pets are the reason why he has pink eye but he doesn’t play near their litter box. Idk I feel like I’m failing as a mom. I just need to vent.

As a former day care teacher those germs are no joke it’s nothing you’re doing wrong 🫶🏽 you’re doing absolutely everything u need to do
You are not doing anything wrong! He is building his little immunity system. I went through the same thing with my 2 year his first year of daycare. Now he goes long periods in between illnesses. Going through the same thing now with my 10 month old. It does get better. Hang in there mama!
You’re not failing as a mom! My son has been sick nonstop as well. Those daycare germs are no joke! Keep doing what you’re doing! 🫶🏼
We are in the same boat! Good to know we arent alone! 😟 Sending healing vibes your way!!!! I’m currently sick or exhausted, I cant tell the difference and our 10 month old has been congested since last Friday….feels like we have been sick non stop since starting daycare in September 2025.
