Do any bottle fed babies not sleep well?

Over the past year numerous friends/family/people I know have had babies and they’ve all slept well - I visited my friend last week who has a newborn and he was already sleeping through the night with just 1 feed in the middle!!?? Eehhhhh??

So my question is - am I just cursed or is it because all of these babies have been bottle fed that they sleep well? (We’re breastfeeding)……Does anyone that’s bottle feeding have issues with sleep or is that one of the secrets??

Is so disheartening, feel like I should have bottle fed so I wouldn’t be a walking zombie 😂

I breastfed to start and my little one slept through from 6 weeks old. I only started formula feeding when she was about 5 months - I think some babies sleep and some don't.
I was formula fed from birth and have been specifically told that I just did not sleep at all. Im still not a great sleeper.

Oh it's definitely not the bottle! We bottle fed front the start and there are worse sleepers but he isn't great at all. We get phases of good sleep and phases of big disruptions. It's absolutely more about temperament which they are born with!

My son was exclusively bottle fed from three months old and has been an awful sleeper up until around a month ago, where he now sleeps through at 17 months old (I don’t want to jinx this by saying it out loud though!! 🤣) x

Formula babies in general do tend to sleep better because cows milk has more fat in it than breast milk so keeps them fuller longer, that being said babies wake for many other reasons other than hunger so it isnt always the decider x
