Having bleeding symptoms. Wasn’t able to confirm viability

Update: unfortunately, it was a missed miscarriage

11w 0d. At around 8w4d, we went for an ultrasound (abdominal, hadn’t really filled up my bladder too much), and while the obgyn found a sac and something inside it, she struggled to really easily see it and wasn’t able to confirm viability air she said to come back in 2 weeks.

At 10w0d, I start lightly spotting, mostly brown. At 10w3d, I get a little more moderate bleeding, this time red blood. It seems to correlate to bowel movements or to me bending over a lot. Have not seen any tissue come out, no heavy bleeding.

It had been 7 days and I’m still having these symptoms. I was finally able to get an earlier ultrasound in the books for this Friday but the suspense is killing me.

Has anyone went through this? / also virtual hugs welcome

Oh and to be clear - ob-gyn did say it wasn’t an emergency situation. Which, great, but this still doesn’t tell me if my baby is viable or not

I’m sorry you’re going through this. It’s a long time to wait for reassurance. I didn’t go through similar symptoms myself but I remember things were considered more serious past 12 weeks of pregnancy. I assume it’s because before that, chances of miscarriages are sadly statistically higher. You could take a pregnancy test to check presence of hCG. It’s not the same as having a medical diagnosis but I remember doing this a few times early in the pregnancy when I wasn’t sure of my symptoms. I hope everything is normal for you and your baby. Sending you hugs and Good luck

Im almost 30 weeks I’ve had spotting on and off form the last couple months went to the er a couple times and they said it’s normal to have some spotting bc of the sensitivity of the cervix.

I’d go the emergency room

Sorry you have to go through the suspense of it all. I recently had a SCH at 8 weeks.. and surprisingly my OB said its a pretty common thing but it cleared up in about 3 weeks with very light spotting here and there.

Ifyou arent having change pads frequently throughout the day and have no cramps, i would assume all is well! At your next visit they may do an vaginal ultrasound.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Constant braxton hicks!

I’m 29 weeks tomorrow and they are constant especially when I’m walking about!

This didn’t start happening until I was like 36 weeks with my son 😩

Anyone else the same?
