Taken my little one to the doctors and they don’t say much about it. Done my own research and I’m convinced it’s HFM. For any mums whose babies have had it, am I right? It’s also made his eczema flare up so bad 🙁

Does he have them all on his hands and round his mouth as well? X
His hands aren’t quite as bad, but also all over his body! None round his mouth yet x

My toddler has just had it and it definitely looks like it is that ☹️ it’s awful have you checked inside his mouth x

Yeah it definitely looks like it HFM you’ve just got to ride it out unless calpol doesn’t bring their temp down and maybe get some camomile lotion to soothe it for him x
I thought so. Sometimes doctors are useless! Thank you, I’ll try some today x

It looks like HFM. My son had this a few months ago and it looked exactly the same x

Looks like how my daughter's was when she had it - a&e and the GP both didn't say it was that, but then I got it so I know it was 😂

It goes away on its own x

my 9 month old had it 2 weeks ago and took her to the drs and was told it wasn’t and then over a few days it got worse so took her back and they confirmed it was- it gets worse before it gets better unfortunately! there’s nothing they can do for it, keep dosing up with calpol & lots of fluids! be prepared for them to lose their appetite! she also passed it onto me 🥴 xxx

My two year old had this a few weeks ago now. Calpol, loads of rest and fluids is what got us through. GL!

I think it's just chance if you end up with it, I think most people don't but just keep things clean as best you can. I gave her Calpol n ibuprofen, she went off fluids/food so tried formula every 2 hours. Any sense of routine went out the window which was hard but it passed after about a week

Could also be scarlet fever! My little one had it not long ago and has a rash exactly like this! I would get it checked again by a dr as if it is scarlet fever he will need antibiotics
