Taking toddler to a scan

Hi girls, I want to book in a private scan in a couple of weeks and I really want to bring my toddler so she’s part of the journey 🥰 is this allowed ? Also for nhs scans would this be allowed?

I’m pretty sure you can’t bring children under around 8. It’s very distracting for the Sonographer and can make it really difficult if they do have any bad news to deliver

the website should tell you. the ones near me allow multiple visitors and kids too. the nhs ones do not

Private scan yes NHS no I asked when booking

What I would do if it’s private - go in with your partner and have a friend with toddler. Ask the sonographer if once they’ve found baby and you’ve had a minute if your partner can bring the toddler in. That way if there’s bad news they can deliver / concentrate, if all is good and they’ve found baby in a good position they can show the toddler xx

I've taken my 14 month old to both my private scans but I belive it's asked not to bring them to nhs scans x

NHS usually say no children x

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time
