Pre-eclampsia

I am in the same boat. Had bp taken twice a week since end of Jan. Bloodwork keeps coming back fine but BP hovers around their threshold.
It's starting to get me down now. I think they will keep monitoring you first before suggesting moving your section as they haven't mentioned that to me yet.

Also getting anxious 😟 I'm literally in triage right now and they have mentioned having to admit me if they can't keep my bp down.

I have the same. I have to have BP check ups, im 37+5, and i started having contractions but they put me on labeltol tablets for blood pressure yesterday it was high they said ill check again half hour abd it was still high but got sent home.

I had similar with my latest pregnancy I was 36 weeks when it started with the BP and urine not reducing, I got asked to go to the hospital at 37 weeks 5 days for a re test of urine as it jumped alot, they kept me in (I did then swell up like a balloon over night) but was offered a section or induction there and then, section was done 38 weeks exactly and I had to stay in to be monitored for those 2 days.
Im still on labetalol tablets for BP now 11 weeks post partum too x

Hey i had high blood pressure with protein in my urine but still had my csection no issues xx

They put me on blood pressure medication when i had high bp from 36 weeks didnt bring my section forward but I was first on the list due to my bp
and then monitored me for a few weeks after when my bp went down i was transfered from midwife to gp care x

Can I ask why you’re having a section? Is it a preference or have you been told you have to have one? Only because I had mild pre eclampsia with my first and got induced at 39 weeks due to protein and high Bp.

Tbh I don’t think they will bring it forward. I think they will give you medication and monitor you. I developed pre eclampsia at 23 weeks. I had the swelling loss of eye sight protein uria and they still tried to get my to 38 weeks but once my kidneys started failing they brought my little one at 30 weeks via emergency C section so I think the will try and get you as close to your c section date as possible xx

Yeah I have to have 200mg 3x a day.
