Biting at daycare

My 2 year old goes to daycare and in 3 weeks he has gotten bit 3 times by 2 other kids. The teachers say he’s not provoking it. How do you handle the situation with the school ? I’m pretty pissed rn.

So that happened to my little as well. I think it’s the age group. I was really upset, but the teacher did handle and worked with the other parents to address it. It took time for the other child to stop, but you’d never know he was biter now

I’m upset because where is the teacher when all of this is happening. And the worst part is he gets bit on the face

I completely understand. That age group is pure chaos. There are 3 teachers at ours in that class. Between potty training, potty accidents, kids falling, I feel like they are constantly having their attention pulled in multiple directions. You have every right to be upset. Please don’t misunderstand me. I was too.

I will just never forget when I had to pick up my little early and seeing the pure chaos in that room. I felt for those women in that moment. God knows I couldn’t handle it.

My little has gotten bitten and hit 4 times so far but he’s 2 as well and honestly…kids 2-5 are a bit much!! especially when there’s a boatload of them being handled between 1-3 people. As a mom that gets really panicky and anxious whenever I get a call from the school. I’ve learned as long as they give you an incident report and explain to the best of their ability it’s more than likely just kids being rambunctious and acting their age. Whenever the teacher becomes restrictive of info and the care center itself won’t give it to you is when you get worried.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
