How do you transition from baby bottle to a toddler bottle for milk? Do I go cold turkey and persevere? I'm worried he won't be getting milk all day if he doesn't take to it.

Try the mam bottle it worked wonders for my son who hated all other nipples.

I used the dr.drown transition bottle and ir made everything so much easier and every few days I dropped an Oz of his formula or how ever your feeding him

In transitioned mine around 14 months and bought a bottle with a straw so it’s easier to drink. Have to make sure you buy straw brush cleaners in order to be able to clean the straw properly. We went cold turkey and she did quite well and was absolutely fine. She started showing a preference for drinking milk herself when she was around 11 months but wouldn’t hold the bottle high up to be able to get the milk out. With the straw she doesn’t have to tip the bottle up and it worked quite well for her. Every baby/ toddler is different and you just have to do what you think is best, sometimes it’s trial and error xx

I offered the sippy first every time, at first baby would refuse to drink but gradually would have a few sips then started drinking more from the sippy.

I transitioned at 12 months, so it will probably be harder if your little one is almost 2, but I used NUK bottle. Also, they don't actually need milk even if he does refuse milk if its not in a bottle their, just make sure they get 2 other sources of calcium a day

My LO weaned herself around 14/15 months. We would offer the sippy cup during the day, and let her have one bottle before bed at night. One day she refused the bottle and I never offered it again.
