I'm currently 5 months pp and really struggling with my new body. I just can't seem to drop any more weight. I'm eating healthy (there are some cheeky days or treats on occasion of course) but finding the energy to stay consistent with exercise is hard.
Can anyone help with advice on how to overcome this or help keep me accountable?

Just do what you can, calorie deficit 100% don’t go over even if I do wanna eat snacky foods ur gonna have to stay under that. (my fitness pal app works a charm) 10 k steps , of ur feeling a bit flat not up for it much cut it up into 15 min intervals of walking. Around ur house , to the shop, stroll etc. and then attempt to eat whole foods/cleaner instead of processed. And work on meditation! Processed food/stress spikes cortisol which stores fat cells/excess water so takes longer to fall off. But will come off eventually

100% a calorie deficit will help! Can still eat what you’d like just within your calories, 1/2 litres of water a day 10K steps! The grow with joe on YouTube is meant to be really good for weight loss!

Are you nursing sometimes nursing makes it super extra hard for some women to lose weight. I lost zero pounds until I stopped nursing and then dropped 15 pounds. I would focus more on eating healthy and strength training and cardio to make yourself feel strong.

I didn’t do a defecit (well didn’t try hard to do defecit) coz I was still BF. (I eat healthy though no junk no soda) But I bought home weights, a Shein smart watch to track my steps and put daily goal on 10k, and signed myself up to a Pilates and Zumba class twice a week. I lost 44lbs in a year even while BF. Maybe I was in a very slight defecit unknowingly coz I lost a steady amount of 0.5lbs a week for a year. Up your daily activity/steps, try to eat well and hit 10k and keep your body moving. I took him to baby classes/library classes 4 days a week then I’d push him around in 2hrs in pram while he napped, that upped my steps.

It takes 9 months to gain the weight and 9 months to lose it! Your body has just done something incredible why are you punishing it now with starving it! Eat healthy and be kind to yourself. Just be active, walk, dance with your baby
