Housing benefits
I'm facing a housing situation and need some guidance. I'm being asked to find a privately rented place in a couple of months. The council advised me to do this, but my housing officer can't give me an estimate for housing benefits. I receive child benefit for one child and Universal Credit. Based on your experience, could you provide an estimated amount I might be eligible for.

2 bed is 750 max I think
If you go on google and search LHA there will be a website that pops up it’s white and orange. You can put your borough in there and then it will tell you the amount you’re entitled to based on the amount of bedrooms you need. It’ll be different for each area so just check all areas near you as some will allow you to receive more money
It’s dependent on area as well. My UC pay all my rent and it’s over £800 a month. I have a child and work. Everyone is different
