Baby sit-ups?

Never heard of doing this purposefully but baby is desperate to sit up so sometimes we grab her hands and help her up

I sit baby up with me behind for support and then I sort of make a circle with my arms and let baby balance/ explore letting him fall to the side/forward a tiny bit catching him on my arms before helping him back up, we also encourage arms out in front for support if he’s trying to sit himself
