Juice, like sweet fruit juice? I’m sure it is normal because juice is delicious! I would drink juice all day if I allowed myself. Hah
Now, I don’t know if that’s recommended for him to consume that much juice in a day though…sounds like a lot. Especially with developing/new teeth. I believe the recommendation for 100% fruit juice here in America is 4oz (1/2cup) a day for a 2 years old.

My son did this also. With squash. I just made sure it was a lot more water than juice and sugar free

Ive kept my daughter on water and now i squeeze her a fresh orange juice inbetween since she wants to explore. Ive never given her store juices

Sounds a lot, can you limit the amount you give? And just give water? Too much juice isn’t good for them

I’ve avoided juice for this reason. My kid is such a stubborn little monster lol it’s bad enough with milk… unfortunately for us it’s somewhat unavoidable because I know sometimes they give them juice at daycare 🤷🏻♀️

My daughter never has juice. The occasional fresh apple juice but that’s it. It’s either plain water or sugar free flavoured water.

That sounds like a lot...id limit the juice intake due to the amount of sugar. Does he seem thirsty cas it might be worth getting him checked out just incase.

Juice? How much water does he have? The only juice we buy in this house is cranberry juice for me. He finds that too sour so he doesn’t drink it, no one does but me lol. It’s give me VitC and antioxidants and great for vag health other than that we all drink water and soy milk (and me coffee)

He won't drink plain water

My 2 year old would drink all day if u let him I swear I must fill his cup up what feels like 100 times a day 😂

When my son started this, I just gave him plain water. He didn’t want it? He must not be thirsty enough. We buy the Mio liquid water enhancers, one normal and one with added hydration/electrolytes. He can pick one with lunch and one with supper IF he’s had a full cup of water between. Milk is for bedtime.

So my son refuses water UNLESS it’s flavored. Hell be 3 in August and I cut his juice with water so it’s still juice but has more water in it.

You ca get flavoured water with no sugar. Or you can put his beaker of plain water in the fridge overnight with fresh fruit in. Anything like berries, lemon, lime, etc.

That's alot! Extreme thirst can be a sign of type 1 diabetes sometimes in children but if he won't drink water I can't imagine it's that, maybe he's just going through a juice phase

I used to water the juice down like at first half and half just lessen the Juice each day soon it'll just be water with a splash of juice. And they won't even notice. But of course always check with your Dr. Just in case.
