I have used it to stop my babys flare up she she had a eczema bad flare up on her elbows for 6 weeks and nothing else was helping!! I used it to settle the initial flare up. And since then use more natural remedies to ensure it doesn't get to that stage again and control it

I’ve had eczema my whole life and you can use steroids but only use when the eczema is bad and to calm it down before moving onto something more natural. Bit like antibiotics where you become immune, if you use steroids too much it’s hard to wean off it.
The GP should have given usage instructions, but generally you apply a thin layer over clean, dry skin twice a day for a week.

We were prescribed this for my boy who had really bad eczema everywhere and normal creams weren't working.
We use this twice a week together with an emolument twice a day.
His skin is so smooth now. I know people say not to use steroids but I always take the advice of the medical professionals over social media. It works for my boy and he's no longer sore and itchy.

We was prescribed this exact one for my baby’s eczema, it did work quickly and you only need a tiny amount morning and night but it only takes down the flare and then it comes back. We used it to take down the flare for about 5 days then switched to natural stuff as it’s not good to use steroids, and we tried so many different things. Depending on what the eczema looks like this may or may not work for yours but the best thing I have found is using hypochlorus spray first and then once dry putting on unfragranced zinc cream. We like the lyonsleaf one at the moment. My baby’s eczema is on his chest/neck folds so may be similar type/causation. Vaseline also hasn’t been too bad for us but zinc cream a tad better.

I’d avoid steroid creams and have it as a last resort. They thin the skin so not good for babies at all. I’ve always had eczema and my 8 week old does at the moment. We’ve been prescribed cetraben for her and using that along with oats in muslin for bath time instead of any soaps is clearing it right up! 💖

We were prescribed this after her eczema kept coming back when stopping other steroids. We made the decision not to use it or anymore steroids.
We have cut out dairy, egg and have change detergent to Ecover zero. We are also using drought secret rescue balm and zinc cream. After a couple of weeks her skin was almost clear and the itch subsided.
GPs treat the symptom not the cause and so when you stop the cream you'll be worse off with the withdrawal.
