Baby shower gift ideas.
Hiya! Pls suggest a simple baby shower gift that is nice but budget-friendly. Never attended any baby shower and never did one for myself so I have no idea. We never met and we dont know the person having the baby shower as we're only invited by her brother who I knew from a play group. We would love to come and dont want to come empty handed as we appreciate the invite. I dont work so i dont really have the budget for an expensive gift. Just want to bring something as a gesture of appreciation.

Little baby outfit would do can get cheap nice ones from the super market. Or a nice baby story book
DIAPERS. WIPES. Cute bow on top.
Diapers but not newborn size, as they grow out of that size quickly typically. Wipes, yes. I feel like board books are always good

Diapers and wipes. I'd say size 1 or 2 as newborns go pretty quickly. Also you can ask about a registry and see what small things they have on there. I left mostly the cheaper items on my registry. A lot of them have gift cards you can do too. After having a baby, i now know a lot and I'm going to one next month and I'll get her wipes and diapers and some after care items for herself so she has some variety as I had spent the 50 dollars for the frida mom kit and I only used one pair of undies and preferred the always discreet underwear someone bought me and they were so much cheaper. I know if I have a second baby I'd throw a baby sprinkle and just ask for diapers and wipes lol
Gift cards for restaurants, skip, Uber eats, etc.
Books: indestructibles are great. They're made to be chewed, they can't be torn. You just throw them in the washer to clean.

I feel like in baby shower we should also give postpartum care gifts for mom to be.. trust me she will be so thankful. Like a nice diaper bag which is easy to carry for mom or matching pjs for mom and new born that she can wear going home outfit I guess.
Baby bath& wipes is always a nice gift and essential. Wipes are always needed & diapers but should get size 3-4 for later use.
