Red rash post one year jab

Hi mamas, my baby had her one year jab last week, exactly 10 days ago and she was fine for that day just mild fever. I noticed she started having fever last night and just now red rash all over her chest and tummy area with a mild fever! Did anyone experience this? Should I go to A&E? Fever is not too bad, but her appetite has dropped since yday and she’s playful anyways

It will likely be the measles component of the MMRV. Between day 6-11 you can expect a fever, measles type rash, nausea, fussiness etc. it’s a live vaccine so they can get symptoms of the actual illness. My son got a rash when he had his a few years ago. My daughter got a fever off and on.
If you’re worried go get her checked out but I’d hedge my bets that’s what it is.

If you're really worried definitely speak to a GP, but we had ours done yesterday and they advised that he could get a fever/rash around day 10 as it takes that long for it to start working.

Absolutely normal. At the appointment they should’ve explained to you that some point over the 2 weeks after, babies can have temp spikes and develop a rash also. If you really are concerned though I’d call nhs24 for advice x
