He hasn’t pooped since Wednesday but he’s having a lot of wet nappies & farting a lot. His belly feels fine it’s not swollen or anything but I can hear it make popping sounds like moving gas. The only thing that stops him from crying is milk but idk if me giving him milk is making it worse? Or if he is just crying for milk

Sounds like trapped gas, a nice warm bath and some cycling legs. If you message me I have a video what works wonders for my lg with wind xx

Sounds like gas, try the sun and moon massage technique and lots of burping x

i dont think hes crying for milk it probably just settles him but might be making it worse if the gas isnt released. Try leg circles and rubbing/pressing on his stomach theres videos on tiktok on how to do it. Theres also frida windi which ive heard is good. I saw your post saying he has been having a lot of milk and without any release im sure hes uncomfortable x

Going through the same thing. I think my son has colic but not as bad as my first born 🙏🏽
I'm feeding little and often. Plus skin to skin and a dummy when he's crying in pain.

We have had the same issue. Theo is formula feed and my health visitor advised me to give him shop bought pre made bottle as the is something in it that helps them to go. Been giving him 1 at night since Wednesday and were getting up to a dirty nappy since so looks like it works xx

do bicycle legs

we had the same issue with formula top ups for the first week she was born.. she was constipated for 11 days and paediatricians signed her off as fine and didn’t want to see her until it’s been over 14 days of no poo!
We used ready made formula which made her super bunged up.. can only recommend lots of bicycle legs, movement to the tummy and lengthening the body!
Good luck and brace for the explosive poo incoming
