High blood pressure post partum at my wits end

Has anyone suffered with high blood pressure post partum? I’m 2 weeks post partum and having a midwife out every 2 days to check my bp I’ve been sent to triage twice and even today they want me to go for a third time I’ve refused as I cannot leave my baby and managed to get an emergency out of hours gp appointment for tomorrow !!!!!!! They are not doing anything at triage and my bp doesn’t seem to be coming down it’s really depressing me. Does anyone have any tips or know how I can reduce it

The same happened to me, I had a few episode of high BP towards the end of my pregnancy and during labour after birth I was in hospital for 2 days and they monitored my blood pressure which stayed down when the midwives came out when I was home it was high again and I got sent up to triage 3 times every time I got to triage my BP had gone down on the last time I was at triage my BP didn’t go down and actually went up even higher, I was then put on blood pressure tablets and stayed on them for 4/5 months before the gp trialled weaning me off them and my BP has been fine ever since I was able to come off the tablets and have had no problems with my BP, I hope this helps in some way 😌 x

Advice needed

Hey everyone. Im currently 36+6 with my first and I have a planned c section booked for 20/10. This evening I've suddenly started experiencing overwhelming nausea and an upset stomach. When I googled my symptoms, it stated that it can indicate that labour will start soon - which terrifies me. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm particularly worried about going into labour as I'm completely alone and have no one to hepp me at the moment.

Unity NIPT Timeframe

I'm in Florida waiting for my test to get to the lab. Nervous because for some reason my doctor's office deleted the appointment from the records where my nipt test was taken. How long did it take (especially if you had yours done on a Friday) to get the confirmation text from Unity that your sample was received?

Also, did they put it in the same profile as your last pregnancy?

Pretty sure my doctor never marked me "present" for my appointment so it just dissappeared. It was only supposed to be a dating ultrasound but since they said I was 10-11 weeks I needed blood work. They never even gave me a confirmed due date. 🫠

Struggling to eat

I’m 28w 3d and since about 26 weeks I’ve been losing my appetite. I have extreme fatigue and can’t sleep at night, sleep all day and have no motivation to eat. I usually don’t even get hungry and struggle to eat even just one meal a day. I had an increase in appetite at 24 weeks but that came with nausea. Simply getting up to get something to eat I get Braxton hicks and get uncomfortable for hours after eating.
Before I got pregnant I’d regularly skip days of eating again because I was just tired but I’ve made real efforts during my pregnancy and the hunger was real during first trimester.
I’ve maintained gaining a pound a week so far in my pregnancy, even gaining back what I lost during first trimester.
I don’t know if it’s normal or stress related but my family is stressing about it and constantly telling me I’m starving my baby, but I’m just not hungry.
What can I do to help increase appetite or fit in extra calories without eating but still getting enough nutrients?
