It’s just to give baby immunity until they are able to get the vaccine themselves. ❤️🫶 I was in the same boat with TDAP.

This time around is different with my son almost 2 years ago they gave me the tdap shot while I was in office with this one I have to go to a pharmacy and see if they will do it…

I’m 31 weeks and I didn’t know we can get shots I just don’t believe everything is safe while pregnant but I’m updated on all my shots before I got pregnant 🤰🏽

I personally skipped on all vaccines during pregnancy. I didnt feel comfortable doing that. They say it's to build immunity, but I just avoided contact with people and I didn't have people come and go in our house. Visitors had to be vaccinated. The tdap is specific for the p part of the vaccine, for whooping cough. My baby was fine! I also breastfed, so i trusted my body to give her antibodies if she got sick

TDAP is important to protect baby. They have such weak immune systems when they’re born. I just got mine. My arm is sore which sucks but there is so much data on the safety of this vaccine.

You get the tdap with every pregnancy regardless of the last time you got it, I don’t get the flu vaccine it always makes me feel horrible and I didn’t get covid vaccine either

I got the Tdap and flu, I was sore and tired for a least three days, but I’m comforted knowing that I feel like I’m doing what I can to give my child the best start to life.
I would’ve gotten the RSV shot too but they said that by the time I’m eligible (36weeks) they said RSV season will be over.
Our families can meet baby in hospital, but I think we’re going to avoid letting everyone hold them and might ask everyone to wear masks (still deciding).
We’re also planning on doing a self quarantine for about a month after birth to make sure baby’s blood brain barrier is fully developed before bringing them around our families with school children.

I seriously cannot figure out if this is too extreme or if my contamination ocd is coming out.
