Curly hair

So my son is 15 months, his hair is mostly curly, but there’s one side and also the top of his hair that just will not curl 😭 did this happen to anyone else? Did the curls eventually go all over? Or is there something I can do to encourage the curls? Thanks y’all 🫶🏻

My daughter has the same kinda hair! I have no clue how to manage it but I’m thinking haircut to make it even lol
I haven’t tried anything other than coconut oil with seems to help the curls stay curly instead of frizzy

I have curly hair and so do both of my children. People with curly hair are known to have more than one curl pattern. I would use some kid friendly curl products to see if that helps.

Cantu and Shea Moisture have kids curl lines. We currently use Fairy Tales for our kids.
