Do I need to burp my baby after breastfeeding? I have been trying but I can never get a burp out of him and he doesn’t seem fussy or anything

Not always because they aren't generally taking in air like they are a bottle.
Depends on the baby and how well they latch, etc, but since they dont take in air much when BF, generally they dont need winding x

I just look for the signs, crying at the nipple, arching slightly etc and then burp her, but sometimes she will feed till she passes out without winding

You should always burp even if nothing comes out. If your letting them take breaks thru out the feedings as well it just helps incase they get air stuck. Big gulps can cause gas as well
