Induction
So I have a review with the doctor next week to see if they will bring my induction forward. I was wondering has anyone ever had their induction brought forward due to mothers health. I have severe varicose veins in one of my legs and one ruptured. Safe to say a very horrific ordeal with the blood loss but I’m petrified of it happening again. I had bad ones prior to pregnancy but I think my third pregnancy and my weight are making them worse.

I had. My induction scheduled for 4th April 2025. Cos I was becoming poorly, the day I was suppose to leave hospital foor a week before going back in for my induction they told me I had to be induced, I ended up with ICP ontop of all my other health problems, inductions aren’t as bad as it can be made out to be, yes mine took 2 days to fully start as I was 38weeks when they started me off, but I had pessary, then 24 hours later the balloon, then 14 hours later tthat came out, had to wait for my space on labour ward, then it was waters broken at 2pm, hormone drip and then I had my little girl at 19;47, not a bad experience either, knowing I’ll have to be induced in every pregnancy going forward I’m not too bothered now x
